I moved to Minnesota in 2009, fell in love with the state, and in 2018, my husband and I chose to make Victoria our home. Victoria is not an overloaded suburb. It has 13 lakes, 23 parks, wetlands that filter our water and support wildlife, trails that take your breath away, and a small downtown with real character. That is worth protecting. Victoria is growing and the decisions made in the next few years will shape this town for generations. I want to make sure that as we grow, we protect the lakes, parks, and wetlands that make this community so beautiful and so unique in the Twin Cities metro. I am also running because of what I bring to the table. As a woman who has built and grown businesses, I understand firsthand what it takes to navigate challenges, listen to customers, manage budgets, and make decisions that affect real people. That kind of experience belongs in every room where decisions get made, including the Victoria City Council. I am not a career politician. I am your neighbor, a local business owner, and someone who has spent decades listening to what people actually need and delivering it. I am bringing fresh eyes to the table and a clear focus on the 3 P's: Parking, Property Tax Management, and Protecting What Makes Victoria Special. Our Community. Our Future. Together.

Nobody should be forced out of the home they love because they can no longer afford to stay. I will fight for full transparency in city spending and responsible fiscal management so that rising taxes do not push Victoria families out of the community they built their lives in. Every dollar in our city budget deserves the same scrutiny you give your own household budget. You work hard for your money and you deserve to know exactly where it is going.
Victoria is not like anywhere else in the Twin Cities metro. Thirteen lakes. Twenty three parks. Wetlands that support wildlife and filter our water. Trails that take your breath away. A small downtown with restaurants, wineries nearby, and the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum just down the road. As Victoria grows, I will make sure that growth is planned thoughtfully so we keep what makes this town special without becoming another overloaded suburb. This is not about telling anyone what to do with their land. It is about making sure the city plans with intention so our lakes, parks, and wetlands are protected for future generations.
Downtown Victoria has a parking problem and business owners and residents have been saying so for a long time. I am committed to bringing real solutions to the table, not studies that sit on a shelf. A vibrant downtown depends on people being able to get there.
